The Harried Mystic is a Franciscan ministry focused on the quest for spiritual meaning and the Way of the Heart through an engaged spirituality. All who share this same passionate search are invited to comment on the author’s daily reflections on his experiences with a wide range of approaches and share their own.
A central premise of this blog is that everything we do and everything that happens in our lives is intended for our enlightenment. The Living God is there, in the moment, hiding in plain sight.
Posts on this blog represent the earnest and prayerful musings of the author and do not reflect the opinions or interpretations of the Order of which he is a part. The wider community is a religious Order of the Episcopal Church and, like the Church itself, is an exceptionally large tent with room for a wide spectrum of sincere interpretations and positions.
So, we set out on our voyage on the high seas of possibility, uncertain as to where the journey may lead, anticipating a heady and marvelous series of discoveries in positive creative spirituality.
Good journey!
